Andrea Harvey-York is the Director of Government Affairs for West Coast University and American Career College. She is a skilled Government Relations professional with two decades of direct experience lobbying legislative and regulatory issues at the state and federal levels. She began her career with for Assemblymember Pavley (D-CA), working on landmark climate change legislation, telecommunication innovations and funding for the highly esteemed public university systems.
She continued her career in the CA community college sector where she specialized in issues related to labor, academic policies, workforce development, banking finance and budget funding. Additionally, she has been deeply involved with ballot initiatives, media campaigns, PAC, membership development and lobbying for a broad range of clients from higher education, to agriculture and Fortune 500 energy companies.
