Brad Kuykendall is Chief Executive Officer of Western Technical College. He represents the 4th generation of same-family ownership in Western Tech and has been working there in different capacities for over a decade. Brad holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Spanish from BYU. Brad served two terms as Chairman of CECU's Board of Directors. He has been active in CECU’s Executive Committee for the past four years and is also active in the Federal Regulatory Committee, Federal Legislative Committee, and the PAC Committee. Previously, he served five years on the Board for Career Colleges and School’s of Texas (CCST) as Treasurer. He is also currently serving on the advisory board for the Borderplex Alliance (a Bi-National, Tri-State Economic Development Collaborative), the Board of Directors for WestStar Insurance Group, Board of Directors for the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce, and served for three years on the Career and Technical Education Advisory Board for the greater El Paso area as well as the T-STEM Advisory Board for Irvin High School in El Paso. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Katie, for 13 years and they have five wonderful children (Noah (10), Kaelyn (7), Brigham (5), Stella (3) and Axel (1)).
Western Technical College has been family-owned and operated for four generations. They have two campuses in El Paso, TX and offer programs in the hard trades, allied health, health and wellness, business, and IT fields.
